Creating a PDF document from Powerpoint presentations
Put powerpoint presentations online as a PDF. This method of presentation delivery does not require that the enduser have powerpoint software.
Convert powerpoint to pdf.
For Windows Users

Install Adobe Acrobat on your computer

"Convert to Adobe PDF" icon will appear on the tool bar in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Open the PowerPoint presentation you've created.

Click on the Adobe icon in the toolbar.

Name the file

It may take a few minutes to convert to PDF.

After the conversion process is complete, open the PDF file to be sure it looks exactly as you intended. If the pages are rotated, go to the document menu and select "rotate files" to rotate the pages to the proper alignment.

If you need to make changes you can either return to the original Microsoft PowerPoint file, make the changes and convert to PDF again or you can use Adobe Acrobat to edit the file.

Mac users need not install the Acrobat software. All Office programs have PDF capabilities in Mac OSX.
