The
Instructional Technology Group (ITG) offers a broad range of services
for faculty who want to explore digital multimedia and technology
enhancements in support of teaching. ITG supports the CLASSES.yale.edu
web based toolset for synchronous and asynchronous communication
between instructors and students, and electronic publication of
course-related materials, syllabi, and web pages. We provide one-on-one
and group training on the use of the CLASSES server and related
technologies, such as basic web page creation, digitization of materials,
and electronic publishing. Finally, we offer a broad range of consultation
services for faculty who want to explore multimedia and other digital
technology resources in support of teaching. These include individual
training on development tools, access to multimedia development
facilities in the ITG Faculty Media Lab, and help with funding and
maintaining a Web-based course development project. For more information,
